This entry uses Einstein's notation to differentiate covariant and contravariant quantities. In the International Tables the difference is made in terms of row and column vectors respectively, while Einstein's notation is not used. I wonder if, for consistency, we shouldn't rewrite the text to follow I.T. conventions.
